Hi, I'm Moira!

Kia Ora! I’m a full time photographer that is based in New Plymouth, New Zealand. I found a great love in the mix of beauty and authenticity in wedding photography. Since I picked up my camera in 2011, I’ve shot over 350 weddings in 5 countries and counting.

I’m a passionate person and tend to pour my heart and soul into what I love. A few of those things: Gardening, traveling, decorating, dreaming, long summer evenings, cuddling my kids, and drinking strong tea. Mountains and oceans always transport me to a good place. 

Besides photography, my other great love is a lovely, geeky, gorgeous long haired man called Constant. Together we eat far too much sushi and thrive on spontaneous adventures. We’ve been together for 15 years, but got married in Thailand in 2015. Our closest friends & family flew over to celebrate with us, and we had the time of our lives.

I worked as professional retoucher for two years

I love blasting George FM in my car

I’ve been fascinated by insects since childhood

I speak a basic level of Indonesian (I lived in Bali for 3 months) 

I love learning anything and everything about history

I was born in a small town called Paarl in South Africa

I love exotic fruit and tasting new ones

I thrive on podcasts while editing. My current favourite is Ologies

I make the best coffee in the world according to my friends
